Cooking Home Made Bbossfoods Strawberry Delights

For a person who just loves to eat and not much of a home cook, this kind of job seem daunting. We nee more than just patience. A food tech or cook needs to endure the strains for standing for a long period of time.

However, the fruit of labor always bears great fruits. Endurance + patience =  great  food :-)

Here, as shown previously, we need to gather the fruits, transport them to our kitchen, sort the berries, wash, and then sort again.

And then we prepare other ingredients such as the lemon juice, and sugar measurement.

Next is that we make sure that the glass jars and covers are freshly cleaned or sterilized not giving room to some dust settling in them.

Home Made Processing of Bbossfoods Strawberry Delights

Though we were so focused in perfecting the preferred taste, we were able to do some photo shoots while working.

Berries fresh and Sorted out from the farm

Resorting of berries, and cleaning and removing of leaves and strawberry tops.

Cleaning and sorting again in the kitchen.

With out of school youth trying to "ipon" for college, as assistants in sorting out the berries
that came from the mountains of Sto Tomas, Tuba, Benguet (this batch of berries).

(Sources vary, either from Tuba, Higher elevations of La Trinidad and other parts of Benguet)

Cleaned berries.

After cleaning, weighing again, checking how many kilos were removed (spoilage).

Manually juicing the lemons

(after sorting berries, showered to change clothes hence the changed outfit)

Sterilizing of bottles, although these are already brand new from the factory, we still need to wash and rinse with hot water, in case some dust settled in the bottle during travel).

After preparing all ingredients and the bottles, we started cooking the berries.

Will post photos and videos in the next blog.
